Our History

Fall of 2006 - Members of various churches met together in prayer out of concern for the large number of young, unwed mothers and their circumstances.

In 2008 - A steering committee was formed, incorporation, non-profit, 501(c)3, status, election of a governing Board of Directors, purchase of building and affiliation with Care Net, an organization serving more than 1,100 pregnancy centers in the nation, was established.

In 2009 - Thirty-seven Pregnancy Decision Coaches were trained and Turning Point opened its doors to the public in March.

Turning Point wishes to thank the individuals, churches and organizations within the area for prayers, talents, time and financial support during the creation of the center’s foundations and continued support through the years.
